New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar

Mission


New England Shirdi Sai Parviaar's ( NESSP's ) mission is to promote the philosophy of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and to accordingly support religious, spiritual, cultural and charitable activities. To serve this mission, NESSP is working to establish a permanent Shri Shirdi Sai Mandir and Mission Center in the Greater Boston area of New England.

History


New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar (NESSP) was formed by devotees who share their love for Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and are inspired by His teachings. NESSP was registered as a Non-profit organization in the year 2006. Here are some of our significant milestones every year since then.

2006 - Started with monthly events at rented premises in Dracut MA
2007 - Started Shri Shirdi Sai Temple Operations in Dracut MA
2008 - Expanded temple operation days in Dracut MA as devotees started thronging to Baba
2008 - Started exploring larger and more accessible facility for Temple and Mission activities
2009 - First ever Fundraising Kick off.
2010 - Moved to a bigger space with 7200 square feet of space
2011 - Sai Baba?s life-size murti arrived and was consecrated with great devotion and celebration
2012 - Project to build a permanent Shirdi Sai Temple and Misson Center in Boston, Greater Boston kicked off
2013 - Site with 28 Acres of Land Identified and work begins to get the required permits
2014 - Planned Ground Breaking for Shirdi Sai Mandir and Mission Center

2015 - Site Plan approved. Bhoomi Shuddikaran Pooja. Construction begins

2016 - Bhoomi Pooja, Shankusthapana (Foundation stone)

2017 - Grand Inauguration

NESSP has been formed to bring all devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba from the Boston, Greater Boston, New England area together to spread the message of Baba. The parivaar?s vision is to spread the message of love, kindness, unity and make a meaningful contribution to the welfare of the mankind without any distinction of religion, region, race, sector personal belief. Our mission is also to construct a Shirdi Sai Temple in the area which will be a center for social and spiritual activities promoting Sai Baba?s message of Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience).

NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs for last 7+ years. In addition to temple related activities , NESSP also believes in helping the communities that it?s part of. We have an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter and an all-round youth development program.

We believe in Faith and Patience and our value system is based on the teachings of Shri SaiBaba.

We have created an environment which facilitates a direct connection between the devotees and SaiBaba.

Firmly believe in an all round development of the community and a full support for our youth who will be citizens of tomorrow. All our activities are focused to bring back to the community. It's said " What you Give Stays with You".

Devotees can walk in for darshan on Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri - 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Thursday - 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM

COVID Guidelines

In order to prevent person to person spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of devotees, priest and volunteers and to be compliant with State of Massachusetts guidelines. Your co operation, understanding and support are highly appreciated to follow these policies.

Devotees must wear masks. No devotees will be allowed into the temple without mask without any exceptions.

Donation

Donate generously towards the construction and operation of the Shirdi Sai Temple. All the donations are eligible for tax deductions. If you like to donate using check, please send checks to the following address payable to "NESSP". Please email finance@nessp.org for any questions.
